Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Sr. Manager – HR & Admin to lead the human resources and administrative functions of a large woven garments manufacturing facility. The role involves overseeing HR strategy, talent management, compliance, employee relations, and general administration. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices in the RMG sector, and the ability to manage a large workforce efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
  2. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and labor laws.
  3. Plan and manage staffing needs in coordination with production and departmental heads.
  4. Supervise recruitment processes for all levels, ensuring timely hiring and proper skill alignment.
  5. Maintain healthy employee relations by addressing grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  6. Ensure effective implementation of welfare programs, grievance handling systems, and workplace safety initiatives.
  7. Ensure compliance with all labor laws, factory rules, and regulations under the Bangladesh Labor Act.
  8. Maintain updated records for compliance audits (e.g. by BGMEA, BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP).
  9. Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs for workers and staff.
  10. Promote a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement.
  11. Oversee administrative functions including security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, and utility services.
  12. Ensure smooth day-to-day factory operations through effective coordination among departments.
  13. Implement and monitor disciplinary actions and procedures as per company and legal guidelines.
  14. Maintain all disciplinary records and support management in handling legal cases if needed.
  15. Prepare for internal and external audits related to HR, admin, and compliance.
  16. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR and administrative records, including personal files, attendance, and leave registers.
  17. Lead and guide the HR & Admin team to ensure high efficiency, integrity, and accountability.
  18. Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.

Academic Qualifications:
  • Master of Commerce (Mcom)
  • Concentration/Major: HR/Strategic HR/Management/Administration.
Professional Certifications:
  • PGD in HRM
