We are seeking an experienced and proactive Sr. Manager – HR & Admin to lead the human resources and administrative functions of a large woven garments manufacturing facility. The role involves overseeing HR strategy, talent management, compliance, employee relations, and general administration. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices in the RMG sector, and the ability to manage a large workforce efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and labor laws.
- Plan and manage staffing needs in coordination with production and departmental heads.
- Supervise recruitment processes for all levels, ensuring timely hiring and proper skill alignment.
- Maintain healthy employee relations by addressing grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure effective implementation of welfare programs, grievance handling systems, and workplace safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, factory rules, and regulations under the Bangladesh Labor Act.
- Maintain updated records for compliance audits (e.g. by BGMEA, BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP).
- Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs for workers and staff.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement.
- Oversee administrative functions including security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, and utility services.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day factory operations through effective coordination among departments.
- Implement and monitor disciplinary actions and procedures as per company and legal guidelines.
- Maintain all disciplinary records and support management in handling legal cases if needed.
- Prepare for internal and external audits related to HR, admin, and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR and administrative records, including personal files, attendance, and leave registers.
- Lead and guide the HR & Admin team to ensure high efficiency, integrity, and accountability.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.
Academic Qualifications:
- Master of Commerce (Mcom)
- Concentration/Major: HR/Strategic HR/Management/Administration.
