The Executive- Welfare (HR & Compliance) is responsible for promoting employee welfare, maintaining a positive workplace environment, supporting HR and administrative functions, and ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and buyer requirements. The role serves as a bridge between management and employees by addressing workplace concerns, coordinating welfare activities, handling employee grievances, and supporting audits and compliance initiatives while contributing to smooth day-to-day administrative operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and report worker absenteeism, turnover, and migration trends regularly, and recommend corrective actions to improve workforce stability and retention.
- Plan and conduct effective orientation and induction programs for newly recruited workers, ensuring 100% awareness of company policies, workplace rules, health & safety requirements, and the Code of Conduct before deployment.
- Receive, document, investigate, and resolve employee grievances promptly, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring timely closure in line with company policies and labor regulations.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver regular training sessions on labor laws, worker rights, workplace ethics, occupational health & safety, and buyer compliance requirements to enhance employee awareness and compliance.
- Provide counseling and guidance to employees on personal, social, and workplace-related concerns, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure appropriate support and employee well-being.
- Prepare, maintain, and update all compliance-related records, registers, reports, and documentation accurately, ensuring audit readiness and compliance with legal and buyer requirements.
- Ensure maternity leave, benefits, and related documentation are processed in full compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies while maintaining complete and accurate records.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to implement labor laws, buyer Codes of Conduct, and employee welfare initiatives, ensuring ongoing compliance across factory operations.
- Provide comprehensive documentation, evidence, and operational support during internal, external, and buyer compliance audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions.

Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
- Concentration/Major: Bachelor's/ Masters in human resource management, Management
