The Senior Merchandiser at Visual Knitwears Ltd. plays a key role in managing the end-to-end merchandising process for knit garment production. The position involves close coordination with international buyers, ensuring product development, costing, order execution, and timely delivery while maintaining quality and compliance standards. The role requires strong communication with cross-functional teams including production, sourcing, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow from sample development to shipment. The Sr. Merchandiser is also responsible for price negotiation, raw material sourcing, order follow-up, and resolving any production or shipment issues. A strong understanding of global apparel trends, fabric knowledge, and buyer requirements is essential for success in this role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and company's objectives.
2. Develop and maintain excellent business relations with the buyers to serve their interest and requirement for smooth Business.
3. Strongly capable of handling quantitative analysis, Buyer corresponded and created creative work, any Merchandising file of an order starting from new development.
4. Prepare a production plan & shipment plan for proper execution of sampling and Production according to "Time and Action Calendar" on a regular basis with production.
5. Monitor and assist in the development & creation of new buyers for expanding the business.
6. Meet & deal with Producer/supplier independently for all merchandising activities including costing & price negotiation.
7. Create a channel for sourcing materials for new development.
8. Maintain communication between producer/vendor for all short of development / production and other issues.
9. Handling supply/production problems if they arise.
10. Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to management on ongoing activities and issues.
11. Communication with other department heads or managers to ensure a smooth production process.
12. Excellence /Fluency in English speaking, listening and writing to communicate with Buyers regarding production status and receiving new orders.
13. Any other responsibility as assigned by the Management

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts (BA)
• Concentration/Major: Graduate/Masters in any discipline
