Maheen Accessories Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager to join our HR and Compliance team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions, while also ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations. The individual will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training, while also overseeing the organization’s compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement HR policies, processes, and compliance frameworks
- Handle recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulatory compliance in HR operations
- Conduct HR audits and maintain documentation in line with legal requirements
- Support training and development initiatives to foster employee growth
- Collaborate with senior management to align HR and compliance strategies with organizational goals
- Follow up and manage the HR, Admin, and Compliance work effectively.
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, buyer COC (Code of Conduct), and other social and environmental standards.
- Organize and coordinate external and internal audits including BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ICS, ACCORD, RSC, ISO, C-TPAT, ISO, GOTS, GRS, RCS, OCS, HIGG, OEKO-TEX, Better Work and other buyer-specific audits.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions in line with company policy.
- Maintain and update factory certifications and ensure document readiness at all times.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to promote a positive work culture.
- Ensure timely handling of all administrative functions, including security, housekeeping, and general factory management.
- Liaise with external bodies, including government officials, third-party auditors, and buyers’ representatives.
- Conduct internal assessments to identify gaps and lead corrective action initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular compliance, HR, and administrative reports to top management.
- Lead worker welfare initiatives, employee engagement programs, and grievance mechanism systems.
- Conduct performance appraisals and ensure timely completion of KPI and goal reviews for all team members.
- Maintain all of the issues of buyer requirements, also sending CAP and implementation.
- Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.
- Handling Disciplinary & Grievance, employee relation issues as per law.
Academic Qualifications:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Concentration/Major: HRM or Any Discipline
Professional Certifications:
- Candidates having PGD in HRM or Diploma in Social Compliance will have an added advantage.

- Fluency in English and Bengali (both written and spoken)
