Job Description:

Dekko Foods Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead and drive sales operations within the assigned region. The role is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market coverage, strengthening distributor networks, and ensuring effective execution of trade marketing activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Establish sales targets for the designated area and ensure their achievement aligns with company objectives and market potential.
  2. Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, supervisors, and other staff within the designated area.
  3. Provide guidance, support, and training to enhance their performance and productivity.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to expand the distribution network within the assigned region.
  5. Identify potential dealers, distributors, and retail outlets to increase product availability and market penetration.
  6. Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitors` activities.
  7. Develop sales plans and strategies based on market insights to maximize sales growth and market share.
  8. Build strong relationships with key customers, including distributors, retailers, and wholesalers.
  9. Address their concerns, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.
  10. Plan and execute promotional activities, advertising campaigns, and marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive sales growth.
  11. Monitor the effectiveness of promotional efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
  12. Manage the sales budget for the designated area, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
  13. Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports regularly.
  14. Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  15. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Maintain high product quality standards, customer service, and ethical business practices.
  16. Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve their targets and excel in their roles.
  17. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  18. Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  19. Stay abreast of industry developments and trends to identify new opportunities for business growth.
  20. Effectively manage the geographical territory assigned, optimizing coverage and distribution channels to maximize sales opportunities and customer reach.
  21. Continuously strive for process improvement, innovation, and excellence in all aspects of sales operations to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Academic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)
  • Concentration/Major: Graduate/Masters in any discipline
