The Officer/Sr. Officer – HR & Admin is responsible for supporting human resource and administrative functions to ensure smooth organizational operations. The role involves recruitment and onboarding, employee record management, attendance and leave administration, policy implementation, employee engagement, and general office administration. The position works closely with management and employees to maintain a productive work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for manpower planning based on business needs and departmental requirements.
- Manage the full recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of employees.
- Maintain and monitor attendance, leave records, and time tracking to ensure accuracy and discipline.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, allowances, and deductions with relevant departments.
- KPI setting, performance management, and appraisal processes by ensuring clear goal alignment, periodic reviews, and tracking of employee performance outcomes.
- Implement disciplinary actions in line with company policy and applicable labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, company rules, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare offer letters and employment contracts & maintain onboarding documentation and employee records.
- Maintain and update employee databases and HRIS systems & monitor attendance, leave records, and employee data.
- Prepare HR letters, certificates, and employment-related documents.
- Assist managers with performance documentation & support performance appraisal processes.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development and skill-building programs.
- Handle employee grievances, complaints, and day-to-day workplace issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Manage HR administrative activities including issuing letters, confirmations, and employment verifications.
- Prepare and present HR reports including headcount, turnover, absenteeism, overtime, and other HR data.
- Should have the ability to work under pressure.
Academic Qualifications:
- Master of Commerce (Mcom)
- Concentration/Major: Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
