The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing basic healthcare support to employees in a garment manufacturing environment. The role ensures immediate first aid, monitors workers’ health conditions, and supports workplace safety by maintaining medical records and assisting in health-related programs. The position plays a key role in promoting employee well-being and ensuring compliance with occupational health standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid treatment for injuries, minor illnesses, and emergencies within the factory.
• Maintain and update employee medical records and treatment logs.
• Assist in conducting routine health check-ups and awareness programs.
• Monitor and report workplace health and safety issues.
• Ensure availability and proper management of medicines and medical supplies.
• Support in handling occupational health incidents and emergency situations.
• Coordinate with doctors, hospitals, or external medical services when needed.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in the medical room.
• Assist in implementing health policies and compliance requirements.
• Provide guidance to employees on basic health, hygiene, and safety practices.
• Prepare medical reports and documentation for management or audits.

Academic Qualifications:

• Diploma in Medical
• Concentration/Major: Diploma in Medical Assistant (MATS) Or Related Field
