The Manager - Accounts & Finance will lead and manage the finance & accounts functions, ensuring accurate reporting, effective financial controls, compliance with statutory requirements, and strategic financial planning. This role requires strong technical financial expertise combined with leadership ability to oversee the company’s accounting and finance operations in a fast-paced export-oriented knitwear environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounts and finance function for the sweater factory, overseeing daily financial operations
- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets and forecasts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure accurate cost accounting, inventory valuation and production cost analysis
- Maintain compliance with local tax regulations, VAT requirements, EPB reporting and statutory audits
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and respond to audit queries
- Monitor financial performance and implement controls to support business objectives
- Support strategic decision-making with financial analysis and performance insights
- Oversee payroll accounting and related statutory contributions
- Lead and mentor the accounts team, ensuring high standards of accuracy and professionalism
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
- Concentration/Major: Bachelor's/ Masters in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration
