Mehmud Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., a spinning unit of Anwar Group of Industries, is seeking a competent and detail-oriented professional for the position of Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Quality Assurance. The role is responsible for ensuring consistent yarn quality in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and ensure yarn quality at all stages of the spinning process (Blow Room to Packing).
2. Supervise laboratory testing of raw materials, sliver, roving, and finished yarn as per defined quality standards.
3. Analyze USTER and other testing reports; identify variations and recommend corrective actions.
4. Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection protocols.
5. Coordinate with Production to control process parameters and reduce defects, complaints, and rejections.
6. Investigate customer complaints and prepare root cause analysis (RCA) with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.
7. Maintain quality records, test reports, and documentation in compliance with internal and customer requirements.
8. Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of laboratory testing equipment.
9. Train and guide QA staff on testing methods, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices.
10. Lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve consistency, and enhance overall product reliability.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Concentration/Major: BSc /MSc in Textile Engineering

• Preferred Institutes: Bangladesh University of Textiles
