The position of Asst. Manager / Deputy Manager – Accounts & Finance is a key mid–senior level role within the Textiles Division of a well-reputed and diversified business group. The role is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, strengthening internal controls, and supporting strategic financial planning to drive sustainable growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory valuation.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.) and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Supervise statutory, internal, and external audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
- Manage working capital, cash flow forecasting, and banking relationships.
- Implement and strengthen internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Provide financial analysis and MIS reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and supply chain departments to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise finance and accounts team members.
- Support ERP implementation and ensure proper financial data integrity within the system.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
- Concentration/Major: Graduate/ Masters /BBA/MBA in Accounting or Finance or related field.
Professional Certifications:
- CACC/ CMA / partly qualified
