Dekko Group is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to support merchandising operations for apparel products. The role involves coordinating with buyers, suppliers, production teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth order execution from development to shipment. The candidate will assist in order follow-up, sample management, documentation, and communication to ensure timely delivery and buyer satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in handling apparel orders from order confirmation to final shipment.
- Communicate with buyers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding order updates.
- Follow up on sample development, approvals, and submission timelines.
- Coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Prepare and maintain merchandising documents, order sheets, and reports.
- Monitor fabric and accessories status to ensure timely sourcing and production.
- Track production progress and update buyers on order status regularly.
- Support shipment coordination and ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, costing, and buyer communications.
- Assist senior merchandisers in daily merchandising activities and problem solving.
- Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and company standards throughout the merchandising
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA)
- Concentration/Major: Graduate/Masters in any discipline
