We are seeking an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – HR & Admin for OMC Steel Limited, a leading stainless steel manufacturer. The role will oversee HR operations, administration, employee relations, and compliance, ensuring smooth workforce management and supporting the company’s operational excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Overall HR, Administration & Compliance of the manufacturing company
- Develop, practice, monitor & evaluate HR manuals/policies
- Handle labor disputes & disciplinary matters
- Monitor salary, wages, overtime, incentives, snacks & lunch bills
- Ensure legal compliance (termination, dismissal, compensation, etc.)
- Arrange & support factory and Head Office audits
- Monitor BRTA-related works and update vehicle documents (Tax Token, Fitness, Insurance, Registration, etc.)
- Ensure factory & labor law compliance, H&S compliance, SLAs, AMCs
- Manage legal procedures (GD, criminal cases, land disputes) and liaison with local administration & law enforcement agencies
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labour & Industrial Laws
- Track validity & renewal of factory certifications
- Support ISO system implementation & improvement
- Handle Visa Processing, Ticketing, Travel Plans & Reservations
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management
Academic Qualifications:
- Master of Arts (MA)
- Concentration/Major: MBA in HRM, PGD in HRM or Masters in any discipline
