MIR Ceramic Limited is a leading tiles manufacturing company in Bangladesh, recognized for its innovation, quality, and strong brand presence.
To support our sales accounts activities, we are looking for a full-time Assistant/Deputy Manager who will responsible for overseeing the company's receivables process, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate recording of receivables, effective collection, credit control, customer reconciliation and compliance with company policies. Candidate should be proficient
in Excel and familiar with accounting ERP software.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee end-to-end accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, posting, customer ledger and collections.
- Ensure timely, accurate and compliant issuance of sales invoices, debit notes and credit notes in line with company policy.
- Review and control customer adjustment entries, ensuring proper justification, authorization and complete supporting documentation.
- Prepare and analyze AR aging reports and proactively drive collection strategies to improve cash flow and reduce overdue receivables.
- Work closely with the Head of Finance, Head of Sales and Executive Director - Sales to resolve critical AR, credit and sales-related issues.
- Partner with senior sales leadership to define and monitor customer credit limits, payment terms, and risk exposure.
- Ensuring regular AR-related journal entries, reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Prepare and present dealer commission statements, collection performance reportsand variance analysis to senior management.
- Lead customer account reconciliations and resolve complex discrepancies through cross-functional coordination and periodical balance confirmation.
- Collaborate with Sales Administration and invoicing teams on a regular basis to align invoicing, collections and revenue recognition.
- Control petty cash operations for the Sales Office and showrooms, ensuring proper authorization, accurate recording and strict compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Support management decision-making by providing insights on receivable trends, customer behavior, and cash flow impact.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
- Concentration/Major: Bachelor's/ Masters / BBA/MBA in Accounting or Finance or related field.
Professional Certifications:
- Partly qualified from ICAB/ICMAB/ACCA
