The Executive – HR & Admin will assist in day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, attendance, payroll, compliance, and administrative support to ensure smooth functioning of HR and factory administration in a 100% export-oriented footwear manufacturing environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the full recruitment cycle including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Maintain and update personal files, attendance records, leave data, and other HR documentation.
- Assist in salary preparation, overtime calculation, and related payroll activities.
- Ensure labor law compliance including factory act requirements, audits, and HR-related statutory filings.
- Support disciplinary processes and help resolve employee grievances professionally.
- Coordinate employee training, orientation programs, and performance appraisals.
- Oversee office supplies, utilities, security, and general administrative support for a smooth working environment.
- Communicate with government bodies (e.g., labor office, fire, EPZ, BEPZA) and external agencies when required.
- Ensure workplace safety practices and employee welfare programs are implemented and followed.
- Perform any other HR or administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
- Concentration/Major: Graduation in any discipline
