We are seeking Welfare Officer to support our team. The role involves ensuring a good relationship between workers and management, managing labor issues, and improving workers’ welfare. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of labor law and industrial relations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Union and Committee Formation: Help workers form unions, committees, and welfare groups, and oversee their activities.
- Worker Welfare: Ensure facilities like canteens, childcare centers, toilets, and drinking water are available and up to standard.
- Leave Management: Assist workers in getting paid leaves and inform them about leave policies.
- Facility Supervision: Ensure workers have access to housing, food, recreation, health services, and education for their children.
- Worker Welfare Improvement: Recommend ways to improve the quality of life for workers.
- Training and Education: Advise management on worker training programs and encourage workers to attend technical schools.
- Compliance Support: Help workers and management follow the factory's regulations.
- Health and Safety: Work with medical staff and factory management to ensure workers get proper health care.
- Relationship Building: Maintain good relations between workers and management through discussions about labor contracts and working conditions.
- Conflict Resolution: Quickly resolve disagreements between workers and management.
- Grievance Handling: Address worker complaints and ensure they are resolved quickly.
- Communication: Keep an open dialogue between workers and management to maintain a positive work environment.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
