Job Description:

Research Initiatives Bangladesh (RIB), a non-government Organization is looking for a dynamic Technical Coordinator for the project “Strengthening the human rights and social participation of marginalized groups in Bangladesh with specific focus on women and girls (short: HOPE)” funded by the BMZ and NETZ-Bangladesh.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Promote women and girls rights from local to regional level. 2. Provide immediate support to violence survivors. 3. Conduct fact finding on issues of GBV and prepare reports. 4. Maintain liaison with relevant stakeholders working on GBV responses and ensure collective support. 5. Conduct advocacy initiatives at local to regional level 6. Organise, manage and facilitate all trainings designed under the project at field level of the project area. 7. Prepare need based training manual and modules in consultation with project management team. 8. Facilitate and support training for students, teachers, SMC members, CSO and LAs from village to district designed under the project. 9. Organise and support all public events and prepare reports. 10. Organise meeting and dialogue with relevant stakeholders. 11. Provide input to develop IEC/BCC materials and prepare training manual, events reports.

  4. Area of Expertise: GBV, GBV prevention and response program
  5. Special Qualification: Masters in social science or any other discipline from a reputed university
  6. Additional Requirements: 1. At least 5 years’ working experience projects on GBV responses, human rights, women empowerment etc along with experiences on training and advocacy. 2. Sound kknowledge on GBV and sensitivity towards violence survivors. 3. Sound knowledge on human rights, women empowerment, minority rights. 4. Able to organise, manage and facilitate human rights and governance related training in different level of participants 5. Able to make efficient training plan and implementation using available resources 6. Able to prepare training manuals, modules, and event report. 7. Knowledge on general administration and financial management added advantage 8. Computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, Power point and more 9. Able to prepare quantitative and qualitative reports 10. Good analytical skill and ability to work under pressure 11. Able to drive motor cycle with valid driving license for frequent field visit.
