Currently we are looking for a full-time Senior Executive/Assistant Manager - Costing & Budgeting who will be responsible for product costing. Candidate should be proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting QuickBooks or ERP software. This position is requiring frequent visit of our manufacturing plant to gather required data, it almost two weeks in a month.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Studying and collecting production consumption & cost element data from manufacturing unit to determine costs of finished product.
- Regular review Bill of Material (BOM) and actual uses with production team for variance analysis.
- Recalculate and review of material landed cost calculation.
- Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports on variance comparing standard costs with actual costs (particularly for material and uses variance).
- Monitor movement of raw material, spare parts, packing material, finished goods, byproduct, scrap and participate in monthly physical inventory counting.
- Monthly inventory reconciliation and valuation.
- Calculate estimated product cost or target cost for upcoming product.
- Responsible to identify suitable areas for effective cost control in operation through process improvement
- Maintain liaison with factory & supply chain department for gathering relevant information.
- Perform month end activities relating with cost accounting.
Academic Qualifications:
- Master of Commerce (Mcom)
- Concentration/Major: Accounting/Finance/Management
Professional Certifications:
- CMA 1000 marks completion will get preference.
