Job Description:

Amber Group, one of Bangladesh’s leading industrial conglomerates with diverse operations in textiles, IT, manufacturing, and hospitality, is seeking a proactive and experienced Manager, HR & Administration. The role involves overseeing human resources functions and administrative operations across multiple business units. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, strengthening organizational culture, and supporting efficient day-to-day administrative processes to align with the Group’s growth and ethical values.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Knowledge on labor law, compliance, disciplinary process & employee relations.
  2. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  3. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with company goals and labor laws.
  4. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including manpower planning, job posting, interviewing, and onboarding.
  5. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
  6. Oversee the performance appraisal process, KPIs, and employee development programs to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Identify skill gaps and coordinate internal and external training programs for employee growth and capacity building.
  8. Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, manage leave and attendance systems, and administer employee benefits.
  9. Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, factory rules, and relevant government regulations.
  10. Supervise office operations, maintenance, housekeeping, and security for a smooth and safe working environment.
  11. Maintain and monitor administrative assets, vehicles, equipment, and supplies across departments or factory units.
  12. Oversee staff transportation, travel arrangements, and accommodation logistics as needed.
  13. Act as liaison with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local authorities for licenses, compliance, and inspections.
  14. Coordinate emergency response planning, safety drills, and workplace safety standards implementation.

Academic Qualifications:
  • Master of Arts (MA)
  • Concentration/Major: Masters degree in any discipline
Professional Certifications:
  • Candidates having PGDHRM or Diploma in Labor Law will be given preference.
