A reputed pharmaceuticals company is looking for a qualified and competent candidate for the post of Executive / Senior Executive (VAT and TAX).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file monthly
VAT returns (Mushak-9.1) using the VAT Online System (VOS)
- Coordinate with NBR
portals for online VAT submissions
- Prepare and maintain
Mushak forms (e.g., Mushak 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.5, 6.6, etc.)
- Verify supplier VAT
challans (Mushak-6.3) and prepare sales challans
- Maintain VAT books and
all necessary documentation as per VAT rules
- Ensure proper filing and
preservation of VAT-related records for audit purposes
- Issue Mushak-6.6 and
ensure related compliance
- Assist in pricing (MRP,
Trade Price) ensuring correct VAT application
- Submit and update
Mushak-4.3 (price declaration)
- Cooperate with VAT
auditors and handle audits/inspections by NBR
- Respond to notices,
letters, or demands issued by VAT authorities
- Liaise with VAT circle
offices for compliance and resolution matters
- Handle refund claims and
resolve any VAT-related disputes
- Advise on VAT
implications for new product launches or transactions
- Monitor updates in VAT
laws and implement them in operations
- Knowledge of Central VAT
System
- Reconcile VAT returns
with accounting records
- Operate and maintain VAT
software
- Maintain financial books
and statements in compliance with auditors, NBR, and VAT authority requirements
Academic Qualifications:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Concentration/Major: Accounting
Professional Certifications:
- CA-CC (Partly Qualified candidates will be preferred) /CMA Partly Qualified
