Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in planning and execution of internal and external audits in accordance with applicable auditing standards and the annual audit plan.
2. Coordinate with business units to gather necessary information and documentation.
3. Conduct risk assessments to identify control weaknesses and operational inefficiencies.
4. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
5. Perform detailed audit testing to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
6. Document work papers with audit evidence and conclusions.
7. Draft audit findings and prepare audit reports with recommendations for process improvement.
8. Communicate audit findings to management and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
9. Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
10. Support management in preparing for statutory and regulatory audits.
11. Identify areas for process improvement and cost savings.
12. Work with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
13. Guide and supervise junior auditors (if applicable).
14. Collaborate with finance, operations, and compliance teams to improve overall control environment.

Academic Qualifications:

• Master of Commerce (Mcom)
• Concentration/Major: Accounting

Professional Certifications:

• CA-CC, CMApartlyQualified
