Job Description:

Global Attire Ltd. is seeking an **Assistant Manager – HR & Compliance** to support HR operations and ensure compliance with labor laws, social standards, and audit requirements. The role involves coordinating employee relations, policy implementation, and maintaining a compliant and productive work environment aligned with buyer and legal standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee file management, and payroll coordination.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies in line with labor law and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and HRIS systems.
  • Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, BGMEA.
  • Prepare documentation and support external audits (social, technical, and compliance).
  • Monitor and update factory compliance practices and ensure corrective action plans are implemented on time.
  • Handle grievance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in line with company policy.
  • Promote a positive working environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Identify training needs and arrange compliance and awareness training (e.g., fire safety, harassment prevention, code of conduct).
  • Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Coordinate safety programs and ensure compliance with national safety regulations and buyer HSE requirements.
  • Work closely with the safety team to maintain proper documentation and reporting.
  • Maintain all HR and compliance records, reports, and trackers.
  • Report regularly to senior management on compliance status, audit findings, and HR KPIs.

  • Buyer Code of Conduct (COC)
  • Technical, Certification & Social Audits (SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP, etc.)
  • RSC-related compliance & standards
  • CAP follow-up and documentation
  • Ability to handle the compliance team independently.

Academic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)
  • Concentration/Major: Graduation in any discipline
