We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager. The ideal candidate will support senior management in planning, coordinating, and executing departmental operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage cross-functional tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage daily cash positions and develop accurate cash flow forecasts.
- Support senior management in strategic decision-making and implementation of business plans.
- Analyze current financial processes and drive improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Lead and oversee physical inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend solutions to improve processes.
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of the monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) report.
- Guarantee the timely and accurate posting and reconciliation of all financial transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Be responsible for ensuring the accurate maintenance of the asset register.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Lead or contribute to projects and initiatives aimed at business development and operational excellence.
Academic Qualifications:
- Master of Commerce (Mcom)
- Concentration/Major: Accounting/Finance/Management
