Meghna Group of Industries is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive/Sr. Executive, VAT & Customs. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of VAT and Customs regulations, import and export compliance, and statutory documentation. The role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain all VAT-related registers (e.g., 2.1, 4.3, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.7, 6.8, 6.10, 9.1) as per the new VAT & SD Act 2012 & Rule 2016 and keep records in NBR approved software.
2. Prepare monthly VAT reconciliation.Check the VAT challan properly which is provided by the vendor.
3. Maintain communication with VAT & Customs authority for VAT Audit and keep records accordingly.
4. Ensure VAT deduction at sources as per VAT act.
5. Ensure accuracy and integrity in day-to-day tasks that will have been assigned by the reporting manager/supervisor based on job scope.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts (BA)
• Concentration/Major: Bachelor's/ Masters in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration
