Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily store and inventory operations for raw materials, spare parts, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Issue materials to production and other departments according to approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the organization's ERP or inventory management system (such as SAP or another ERP).
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory verification.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials following FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.
- Prepare inventory reports, stock reconciliation statements, and management reports.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards.
- Supervise store personnel, assign daily tasks, and monitor performance (particularly for Senior Officer positions).
- Minimize inventory losses due to damage, expiry, or pilferage.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required inventory documentation.
- Analyze inventory trends and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA)
- Concentration/Major: Graduate/Masters in any discipline
