BRB Cable Industries Ltd., a leading electrical cable manufacturer in Bangladesh, is looking for a seasoned professional to serve as Deputy General Manager (Store/Distribution). The role involves overseeing the efficient management of finished goods storage and nationwide distribution operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth inventory control, timely dispatch, and cost-effective logistics, supporting the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction across diverse markets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Developing & formulating the existing Store Management/ Distribution planning & strategy for achieving organizational goals.
- Maintain close liaison/collaborates with related department to coordinate Production, Sales and Purchasing.
- Oversee the entire store operations, ensuring accurate inventory control of finished goods.
- Implement effective stock management systems to minimize loss, damage, and overstocking.
- Plan and manage timely dispatch and delivery of products to distributors, project sites, and clients nationwide.
- Coordinate with transport service providers and internal logistics teams for efficient route planning and cost control.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and distribution activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve storage, handling, and delivery processes.
- Lead, train, and motivate the store and distribution teams to maintain high productivity and accountability.
- Ensure proper allocation of tasks and monitor team performance regularly.
- Work closely with production, sales, accounts, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment between demand and supply.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, dispatch schedules, and logistics costs.
- Prepare and present regular reports on store status, delivery performance, and compliance metrics.
- Any other duties & responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Academic Qualifications:
- Master of Arts (MA)
- Concentration/Major: Graduate/Masters in any discipline

- Additional Requirements:
- Candidate should have verse knowledge & experience of Store Management, overall distribution operation, order fulfillment, warehousing, Inventory management, Transportation etc. Also capable to handle with 5000 items of Spare Parts & 500 items of Finished Goods.
- Preferred experience in store management , distribution system & store related accounting. to achieve company objectives.
- Candidates to posses hands on expertise in handling managerial task & sub-ordinates with excellent communication skills, creating conducive working environment
- Candidates working in manufacturing organization will be an added advantage. Good communication skills & Must have adequate computer literacy
