Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid and basic medical treatment for workplace injuries, illnesses, and other health complaints.
- Diagnose and treat common diseases and refer serious cases to specialized hospitals.
- Maintain medical records of workers, including health check-up reports, treatment histories, and referrals.
- Conduct pre-employment health checks and periodic medical examinations for existing workers.
- Identify occupational health hazards (e.g., repetitive strain injuries, respiratory issues, exposure to chemicals).
- Advise factory management on workplace ergonomics, ventilation, and hygiene standards.
- Support compliance with national labor laws, safety standards, and buyer/brand requirements (e.g., Accord/Alliance).
- Conduct health awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, family planning, infectious disease prevention, etc.
- Train workers and supervisors on basic first aid, safety protocols, and emergency response.
- Be available for medical emergencies, including accidents, fainting, or chemical exposure.
- Coordinate with local hospitals/ambulance services for emergency evacuation or referral.
Academic Qualifications:
