Job Description:

Pacific Blue Jeans Wear Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager/Sr. Manager (HR & Compliance) to lead HR operations, ensure legal compliance, drive employee engagement, and uphold international audit and social compliance standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead overall HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  2. Develop and implement HR policies aligned with company goals and local labor laws.
  3. Ensure timely payroll, attendance, and leave management.
  4. Handle grievance management and disciplinary procedures professionally.
  5. Ensure compliance with local labor laws, BGMEA, and buyers’ Code of Conduct.
  6. Prepare for and manage social compliance, technical, and CTPAT audits (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP).
  7. Maintain updated documentation and reports as per audit requirements.
  8. Identify training needs and organize employee development programs.
  9. Conduct awareness sessions on compliance, workplace safety, and harassment prevention.
  10. Monitor workplace safety conditions in collaboration with relevant departments.
  11. Promote a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment.
  12. Supervise canteen, medical, and welfare facilities.
  13. Coordinate with government and regulatory bodies (e.g., Labor Office, Fire Service, DIFE, DoL).
  14. Ensure proper licensing, renewals, and statutory reporting.
  15. Address legal and labor-related issues when needed.
  16. Experienced to handle buyer H&M, Bestseller, C&A, NEXT, Inditex, Celio, Tom Tailor, Cotton on. 
  17. Experienced in Better Work and SLCP platform is mandatory.

Academic Qualifications:
  • Master of Commerce (Mcom)
  • Concentration/Major: BBA/MBA (MGT/HRM); MSc in Environmental Science
