Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy to align with the company's goals and market trends.
- Must have the ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology.
- Maintaining good communication & relationships with buyers & suppliers.
- Reviewing competitors, including pricing, profit, and other progress a regular basis.
- Taking care of marketing & merchandising, responsible for merchandising & production management, including sampling, fit & preproduction approvals, fabric & trim approvals, testing, and gold seals, working with QA’s for timely inspection & delivery, Updating the buyer & the production status.
- Garments costing, corresponding & dealing with foreign buyers as well as local buying agents independently from inquiry up to shipment.
- Analyzed the market trends and buyer requirements, and developed creative and innovative samples for marketing.
- Coordinate with buyers/Agencies for approval of fabric Hand Loom, Strike off, Lab dips, Trims, lab-testing, etc.
- Developed Sample – as per buyer product package/ specifications, Approval of Line Review Sample, Fit Sample with comments, Size Sets, Marketing Samples, Pre-Production Sample and Shipment Samples etc.
- Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and manufacturers to develop new products.
- Monitoring the subordinates to ensure the booking of, fabrics & accessories.
- As well as daily production status, trims & fabric inventory, and supporting the factory to do production smoothly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Tracks development and production merchandising issues.
- Follow up on trims & fabric deliveries to make sure in in-house on time with good quality and quantities.
- Use data analytics to make informed decisions and improve merchandising strategies.
Academic Qualifications:
- Diploma in Textile Engineering
- Concentration/Major: Special Preference: BUTEX, BUFT

- To follow up T & A regularly to ensure on-time delivery with the right quality and quantity.
- Monitoring the sample submission and approval process and ensuring the buyer agreed or set T & A plan date.
- Monitoring all the accessories booking & in-house status of nominated and non-nominated suppliers with correct lead-time.
- Lab dip, trims, bulk fabric color, quality, & sample submit to the buyer for approval.
6. Size set submits to the buyer and approval for bulk production.
- Sent the required materials (trims, fabric, etc.) for third-party testing and provide the report to the client.
- Ensure the placement of order to the correct supplier at the correct fob with the required lead time.
- Monitoring and follow-up all sample and production.
- Monitoring and follow-up QC file, with an approved sample and other details.
- Maintain all relevant merchandising communications files, reports, etc.
- Participate in weekly QC follow-up meeting managing all issues to ensure timely shipment with a quality product.
- Need to know costing and pricing of the garments and negotiations with the buyer to reach the final acceptable prices.
- Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the
- buyer, Proper execution of orders according to planned.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
