The Officer/Sr. Officer – HR (Payroll) is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for factory and corporate employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely salary disbursement. The role includes maintaining attendance and leave records, calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, incentives, and statutory deductions (tax, PF, gratuity, etc.), and coordinating with Finance for payroll reconciliation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Maintain payroll data including salary structure, overtime, allowances, deductions, bonuses and incentives.
- Coordinate with Accounts/Finance for salary disbursement and payroll reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly attendance and overtime reports.
- Address discrepancies in attendance, overtime and leave balances.
- Maintain employee personal files and HR databases (joining, confirmation, transfer, promotion, separation).
- Manage the employee exit process including resignation acceptance, notice period tracking and last working day confirmation.
- Ensure final settlement processing within the stipulated timeline as per company policy and labor law.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures and SOPs.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA)
- Concentration/Major: Graduate/Masters in any discipline
