HR, Admin & Compliance Officer

Job Description:

Keifung Leatherware Manufactory Ltd. is seeking an HR, Admin & Compliance Officer to oversee human resources, administrative functions, and ensure compliance with labor laws, buyer standards, and factory regulations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain employee personal files, attendance, leave, and movement records.
  2. Prepare and process recruitment, confirmation, transfer, and disciplinary letters.
  3. Coordinate manpower planning, job interviews, and onboarding processes.
  4. Assist in monthly payroll preparation and salary disbursement.
  5. Monitor employee welfare, health, and safety initiatives.
  6. Maintain office and factory administrative systems, logistics, and housekeeping.
  7. Ensure proper use and maintenance of factory assets, equipment, and vehicles.
  8. Supervise security, canteen, and transport activities.
  9. Maintain liaison with local government and other relevant authorities.
  10. Ensure factory operations comply with Bangladesh Labor Law and buyer Code of Conduct.
  11. Maintain all compliance-related documents and reports (attendance, wages, leaves, medical, fire safety, etc.).
  12. Prepare for and support external compliance, social, and technical audits.
  13. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAP) as per audit findings.
  14. Conduct internal audits and regular floor visits to monitor compliance practices.

Academic Qualifications:
  • Master of Commerce (Mcom)
  • Concentration/Major: Master’s degree / MBA in Human Resource Management or a related field
Professional Certifications:
  • PGDHRM or compliance-related training will be considered an added advantage

  5. Additional Requirements:

    • In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 (amended 2018) and Labor Rules 2015.
    • Sound understanding of BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO, and buyer compliance standards.
    • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
