The position involves overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, tax, and audit functions for the group and its sister concerns. The role requires strong leadership in managing accounting teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations across group companies.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, VAT, and other regulatory requirements.
- Supervise budgeting, cost control, and cash flow management.
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Monitor and maintain accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
- Lead the finance team and coordinate with other departments for smooth financial operations.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and auditors.
- Support top management with financial analysis for decision-making.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all financial transactions.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
- Concentration/Major: BBA/MBA in Accounting or Finance or related field.
Professional Certifications:
- CA / CMA Qualified or Partly Qualified
