We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive/Sr. Executive – Compliance to support our factory compliance operations. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of social, technical, and environmental compliance requirements, strong documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate audits smoothly.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain updated knowledge of buyer compliance standards (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, Accord/Alliance, etc.) and ensure implementation in the factory.
- Prepare the factory for social and CTPAT audits.
- Conduct regular internal compliance audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Monitor worker welfare, canteen, dormitory, safety, and medical facilities to ensure they meet compliance standards.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans (CAP) in coordination with department heads.
- Maintain accurate documentation, policies, and records required by buyers and auditors.
- Conduct training programs on compliance, workplace safety, and labor rights for workers and supervisors.
- Ensure proper operation of grievance handling mechanisms, anti-harassment committees, and worker participation committees.
- Investigate compliance issues, resolve findings, and follow up on improvement areas.
- Track and update all compliance-related KPIs and prepare reports for management.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring social, ethical, technical, and environmental compliance standards.
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law (amended) and buyer codes of conduct.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA)
- Concentration/Major: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in any discipline
Professional Certifications:
- PGD in Social Compliance will be an added advantage.
